Neon Youth is a partnership between Pittwater & Newport Anglican Churches

All youth in grades 6-12 are welcome

You don’t have to be a Christian to come. This is for everyone. At Neon Youth, we work hard to create a space for youth to either investigate the Christian faith, or be nurtured in that faith - wherever they are in their journey. Click here for more details on when and where Neon Youth meets.

The name

Neon is a greek word for ’new’, ‘fresh’, and ‘young’ and is one of the words that is used to describe young people in the New Testament. The word Neon appears, for example, in Col 3.10 “and [you] have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” Neon in our day also refers to neon lights, and so evokes the idea of brightness in a dark world. Finally, Neon is a new youth group in Newport!
